Severe Driving Conditions
If your vehicle is operated under severe conditions, it may require more frequent servicing. Please discuss the service requirements with your KGM SsangYong dealer.
Examples of severe driving conditions include:
- High load driving such as trailer or caravan towing.
- Frequent stop-and-go traffic, extended idling, short driving distance below 6km in every drive cycle, driving distance below 16km when the outside temperature remains below freezing.
- Offroad driving.
- Driving in a hilly or mountainous terrain, or in sandy, dusty, or pollutant areas.
- Used for commercial purposes, such as taxi, patrol or delivery service (extended idling and excessive driving with low speed).
- In heavy city traffic where the outside temperature regularly reaches 32°C or higher.
